At Deo Juvante, we believe that exceptional yachts begin with understanding people. A yacht is never the destination. It is the means through which owners pursue adventure, freedom, family experiences, exploration, achievement, and personal dreams. Our mission is to help owners transform those aspirations into reality.
Drawing upon decades of entrepreneurial leadership, professional maritime competence, hands-on yacht ownership, ocean crossings, and real-world cruising experience, we guide owners through every stage of the yacht creation journey. Independent from brokers, shipyards, designers and suppliers, we act exclusively in the owner's interest. We help define the vision, challenge assumptions, assemble the right partners, reduce risk and ensure that every decision serves the owner's long-term objectives.
Our role is not to sell yachts. Our role is to help owners create the yacht that best supports the life they want to live. At Deo Juvante, we believe that true value is not found in possessions, but in the experiences, memories and personal achievements they enable. Just as no bicycle creates the cyclist, no yacht creates the adventure. What matters is the journey, the effort, the learning, and the purpose behind it. This philosophy guides everything we do.

Deo Juvante is built around an experience that rarely exists in one person. Thierry Verstraete is an entrepreneur and business builder, owner of seven yachts, a transatlantic sailor and Yacht Master, a world circumnavigator, a design visionary, and a strategic developer.
As a lifelong learner with a constant curiosity for innovation, technology, and human experience, he does not approach a project only as a designer or a consultant. He approaches it from the owner's seat, because he has lived it: years at sea, an ocean crossing with his family, businesses built and led, complex projects negotiated.
Few in the yachting world can credibly claim all of those perspectives at once. That is the foundation of the guidance we give and the concepts we create.
