Exploring the villages along the West Coast of Japan
The Japanese culture is one of a kind. We experienced it firsthand whilst exploring the West Coast of this beautiful country, making multiple stops in authentic Japanese fishing ports and villages.
The list of cities we visited is quite extensive: 15 days of cruising brought us in Kumamoto, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagasaki, Hagi, Yonotsu, Ine, Ogi, Toga and finally Hakodate. We were blown away by the unique atmosphere to be found at the temples and shrines that ooze Japanese culture. Mazarine and Clement got to learn even more about the Japanese lifestyle during their school days there. Of all the places we visited, Japan and its people have felt most like home.
